PARENTING -the Dutch way-
- Dutch children get more sleep.
- Dutch children are not pushed, but encouraged in the activities that they do.
- They get the confidence from parents to do things on their own.
- Young children learn to balance (walking, cycling, climbing and climbing) without constantly holding a hand.
- Older children may play outside without supervision.
- Children eat more often with the whole family at the table
- They spend more time with their father and mother
- They get more pleasure from small things and are also happy with second-hand toys.
- And last but not least, Dutch children get chocolate sprinkles at their breakfast! :-P
